She was speaking to reporters after the launch of six books published by Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia at the Putra World Trade Centre today., a memoir of reform aspirations published by Abim in collaboration with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Nurul Izzah today also touched on her fight for prison reforms, saying those within the entire institution, including the incarcerated, wardens, and the labour that goes into maintaining the prisons must always be championed.
