It’s been 30 years since Kurt Cobain’s death and his only daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, wished she could have known him. The 31-year-old daughter of the legendary Nirvana frontman and Courtney Love paid tribute to her late father on the 30th anniversary of his death by sharing black-and-white photos of their last time together. She also shared photos of the singer when he was a child and with his mom. Kurt Cobain died April 5, 1994 at the age of 27.
” Frances Bean Cobain then gets sentimental, sharing moments she would have enjoyed spending with her musician father. “I wish I could’ve known my Dad. I wish I knew the cadence of his voice, how he liked his coffee or the way it felt to be tucked in after a bedtime story,” she wrote. “I always wondered if he would’ve caught tadpoles with me during the muggy Washington summers, or if he smelled of Camel Lights & strawberry nesquik .
