Award-winning film 'Firefly' now available as a storybook

A storybook based on the award-winning film “Firefly” is now available for sale.According to an announcement by GMA Public Affairs on Facebook, the book is available on the GMA Store, ShopeeMall, and Lazada for P399.The book was written by Augie Rivera, a renowned kids' storybook writer and scriptwriter. The illustrations are by Aldy Aguirre, an award-winning artist who works with watercolor and gouache.“Firefly” is produced by GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs.

The tear-jerking magical realism film follows TonTon , who searches for the mythical island described in his mother's stories. The adult TonTon ends up being a storybook writer who created a book based on the stories.The film won the Metro Manila Film Festival Best Picture award and Euwenn was named Best Child Actor.
