Renowned for amplifying others' voices through her celebrated talk show on iRadio, the Galway native now shares her own story on navigating grief having lost both her parents

Louise Clarke, the familiar voice behind iRadio's talk show "The Hub," has captivated audiences for years with her engaging personality and discussions.

The pain of this loss was compounded years later when her mother was diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer. Taking her friends advice, while balancing her career and caring for her ailing mother, Louise sought solace in counselling: "I made an appointment and went to go and see the counsellor. My mother was sick for six months, but I still had to work and I still had to have the radio persona."

She said: "After my Mum passed, I went through some grief counselling to make sure I was keeping myself on the right path." The radio presenter encourages others to not struggle alone, Louise needed support at the beginning of the year: "I went back to her three months ago after my granny had passed away.
