Zoe Saldana was joined by her husband writer and director Marco Perego-Saldana on The Drew Barrymore Show on Tuesday as she gushed over their marriage.

'It feels lovely, I have to say there were for many years when we first got married, it was hard for me to accept it,' she said.

'Maybe he really means to ask me if I'm comfortable. So I should just say thank you I am. And, the next step is asking him if he's comfortable,' she added.

'So then the boys, at least, you know, our older ones caught on and they were like,"Are you guys kissing? Are you guys gonna go play naked with your Legos?" And we're like,"No, we're not going to do that," she laughed.Their relationship is bonded by something even more permanent.She shared, 'Oh my God, his is better. I have, I have his on my torso but because Marco looks like the Catholic version of Jesus Christo, of Jesus Christ.

The star wore a striped pastel dress with wide sleeves paired with gold jewelry as she showed off her wedding ring.
