While Nicole Richie may be best known for her reality-show era, her early-’00s fashion made her a style icon, along with the likes of fellow Y2K stars Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and the Olsen twins. So when Richie returned to the red carpet this week, she unsurprisingly nailed it.For the premiere of her new Netflix film Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead—a remake of the 1991 comedy starring Christina Applegate—on Tuesday night, Richie wore a little black dress courtesy of Schiaparelli.

The golden accoutrement included a heavy link chain that wrapped around Richie’s neck and connected to a sculptural piece shaped like a tadpole, composed of diamond pins and one giant fake eye.The House of Harlow 1960 creative director and her stylist, Jamie Mizrahi, paired the straight-backed LBD with a pair of black stiletto heels, as well as a set of gold-and-black stud earrings.
