The White House’s corporate media-led offensive line couldn’t wait to point out that Trans Day of Visibility has been celebrated since 2009. Still, anyone with an elementary understanding of how politics works understands that aadministration would have perhaps moved its celebration away from the holiest day in the Christian calendar. However, the Biden White House is anything but normal.
The president replied, “I didn’t do that,” when asked about the proclamation, and he claimed Johnson was “thoroughly uninformed.” Knowing what we do about the diminishedof the 81-year-old president, there is no reason to believe he is aware of what his staff actually does much of the time.
