French vocalist and actor Jean-Paul Vignon has passed away at the age of 89 due to liver cancer. He had a successful career in France and later in the United States, appearing in various films and TV shows.

French vocalist and actor Jean-Paul Vignon has died at the age of 89. Vignon died on March 22 of liver cancer in Beverly Hills, his family have announced. He began his career in France and later entertained audiences in New York and across the Atlantic.

Vignon voiced a character in Shrek and narrated the film 500 Days of Summer. He also appeared in Gilmore Girls and Days of Our Lives.
