Valerie Bertinelli has talked about dealing with grief after she lost her mother, father and ex-husband Eddie Van Halen.
'I think gratitude has served me the best when I'm in the deepest, darkest places of what's happening in my life. But all those hard times has made her stronger today. 'I know that I wouldn't be the person I am today had I not had the challenges that I've had since 2016. I would've liked for all of that not to have happened. But I'm grateful for where it's gotten me.''I wrote that book while I was in the middle of grief. I was still grieving my father, my mother, Ed had just passed,' she said.
In the past, she said on social media that she has been taking more power walks and doing Pilates to shed the pounds, adding she slimmed down when she stopped drinking alcohol as well, so she is working hard on keeping healthy. 'If I want pasta alle vongole, I'm going to make that. And I'm not going to feel one ounce of guilt about it.' She met the man online years ago and they only became romantic earlier this year, but she still will not share his identity'I'm in love,' Bertinelli added. 'It's a seesaw of emotions because I was adamant I was never falling in love again.
'I've met someone. And I'm incredibly grateful for him. It's unlike any relationship that I've ever experienced with a man,' she effervesced. 'I really want women and men to take away that it's the work that you do that can lead you to meeting someone like I've been lucky enough to meet right now. This would not have happened three years ago, four years ago, last year - it wouldn't have. And I feel incredibly lucky to have met him and made a connection with him.'
Now, however, she has changed her mind - she re-posted the old TikTok to her Insta Stories and dished: 'This didn't age well.'
