Hollywood celebrities have flooded social media with tributes after the passing of Freaks and Geeks star Joe Flaherty, who has died aged 82 following a health battle

Freaks and Geeks actor and comedian Joe Flaherty has passed away at 82 years old. Joe also starred as Donald alongside Adam Sandler in the hit film Happy Gilmore.

The news of Joe's passing was announced by Mad Men star Joel Murray who wrote on X, formerly Twitter. On April 1s: "We’ve lost another of my idols. RIP Joe Flaherty 1941-2024." He famously went on to play Harold Weir in the dark comedy Freaks and Geeks, as well as Donald the heckler in Happy Gilmore.
