Curt Connors actor Dylan Baker, who starred in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man series, shares his disappointment about not getting to go through with his Marvel arc in the canceled Spider-Man 4. In a new interview with Comic Book, the Spider-Man star opened up on having to see Raimi's Spider-Man 4 film get canceled. After having played Dr. Connors, also known as The Lizard, in Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3, Baker was excited to explore his character further in the fourth installment.
However, due to creative differences between Raimi and the studio, the project was ultimately scrapped. Baker expresses his disappointment and reveals that he had already been preparing for the role, including growing out his hair and beard. Despite the cancellation, Baker remains grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of the Spider-Man franchise and hopes that fans will still get to see his version of The Lizard in a future Spider-Man film
