Review: A prisoner seeks rehabilitation by trying to break a wild horse in the inspirational film 'The Mustang'

Matthias Schoenaerts plays a troubled felon in the drama “The Mustang.” By Ann Hornaday Ann Hornaday Movie critic Email Bio Follow Movie critic March 27 Rating:

Their destination is prison in the Nevada desert, where an inmate named Roman Coleman has just been transferred out of solitary confinement. Hooded, brooding and given to sharp bursts of impulsive violence, Roman keeps to himself, much like the magnificent, unmanageable buckskin that — isolated in its own cell — begins to exert a wordless pull on the moody prisoner.

Luckily, “The Mustang” overcomes its most predictable story beats thanks to de Clermont-Tonnerre’s intimate, unfussy style and a quietly captivating performance by Schoenaerts.

Well, tbh, it is kind of unjust that his case was dropped. The thing is...this type of stuff is pretty much standard procedure in all kinds of governments all over the country. It always has been..I've lived in Chicago my entire life. Most of the time we all just kinda complain and shrug our shoulders.... Since realDonaldTrump has such a disdain for the City of Chicago, perhaps the city should permanently shut down Trump Hotel and condos for code violations.
