Anne Hegerty, familiar to many as The Governess on ITV's The Chase, has bagged a new role in cinema which is far from her usual TV show.
"I don't think I'll be nervous. It's not in front of an audience. If it was, I'd be thinking, 'Oh my God am I going to forget my lines?' But because there won't be an audience watching, I'm not worried," she continued during a chat with The Daily Star. As she was probed on her future for the show, Anne replied: "As long as they'll have me, really. I don't have any plans to retire. It's the little workhorse that makes everything else possible, and I love doing it. It's the best job I've ever had, so I'm happy to keep going as long as they want me for."
She said: "There was an episode we filmed a couple of weeks ago where I did come very close to corpsing. Bradley was trying to make me laugh. I think I held it together okay, but I can't really tell you anything about it. It's not gone out yet."
