Former Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews has said he was "never a fan of the show" when he was in it - calling the series "toxic".But Spencer said there was "no creativity" in doing shows like that anymore and doesn't look back fondly on the show.
"It's not to say I didn't enjoy doing it when I was in it at the beginning and obviously it gave me the platform that I've built on and I enjoy. "Celebrity Big Brother is another one for me. It's a popularity contest. I don't need to be told if I am cool and funny. I'm 35. I have kids... back where you used to seek validation when you were younger, I don't feel that way anymore.Spencer made headlines last week after he hit out at women commenting on how thin he looks as he is currently training for a world record endurance challenge.
"I'm training for a very specific purpose and I am very aware that I'm losing weight and my body is getting smaller on purpose to make my world record endurance attempt easier for myself."There I am thinking I'm doing something for charity and someone says 'you're not sexy anymore, you look ill'.
