Students from all experience levels came together to prepare the comedy play for the public.

FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Students at West Valley High School are working hard to bring a classic boardgame to life at the school’s Performing Arts Center.

Sofia Randall, who plays the butler Wadsworth, said she grew up doing theater, while Naniq Schiewer, who portrays Mr. Boddy, said, “This is indeed my first play. I was roped into the performing thing-a-ma-jigger just this year.” “This is the biggest role I’ve had,” Randall explained, “so it’s definitely been something new for me, but it’s been a great experience so far.”

This is Senior Beck-Irvine’s first time directing. “I definitely do like being on stage and just like being all extravagant and pretending to be something, but I also like working behind the scenes and directing and figuring things out and how they’re going to work and how everything’s going to look.”
