ROUND ROCK, Texas — After Round Rock residents clamored for new entertainment options, changes will be coming to a strip mall in the city.
"We asked where they wanted to see our community go in next the 10 years," Sara Bustilloz, the city's communications and marketing director, said."There is a lot of requests for more entertainment, more performing arts."Williamson County approves agreement to bring new manufacturing facility north of Georgetown
"Developments where you can go now and essentially eat, have some dessert and go to a show," Bustilloz said.The new 6,400-square-foot venue will be operated by Penfold Theatre Company. The company has been around Central Texas for 16 years but has never had a permanent home. It's produced a lot of successful talent, including some who made it all the way to Broadway.
