Piers Morgan has heaped praise on Prince William, declaring his"show-must-go-on" mentality during the turmoil surrounding Princess Catherine's health is proof"the heir to the throne has what it takes to be our next King".
In the past three years, William lost grandparents Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth II, and now his father King Charles has been diagnosed with cancer, as well as Princess Catherine. "Especially given the added strain from the onslaught of vile conspiracy theories that have raged around the world about the state of William’s marriage at a time when only he and a handful of others knew Kate was facing the toughest challenge of her life.
Prince William has continued on with royal duties in Catherine's absence, spending the day in Sheffield last week in support of his Homewards initiative which is aimed at preventing homelessness. "He then asked his aides to get the man’s contact details so they could stay in touch which I’m sure he will, as I’m told William always keeps his word on stuff like that," Morgan wrote.
Morgan said that although William must have been"worried sick" about his wife and dad, he didn't show a hint of it and pushed on with the visit in an appropriate manner.
