Louis Walsh says he was in 'really bad place' on Celebrity Big Brother

Louis Walsh has opened up about his secret health battle after he confessed to almost quitting Celebrity Big Brother multiple times.

After coming in fourth place, the celebrity opened up about how hard the show was for him at times, explaining that it sometimes left him feeling 'alone' and considering walking, due to his anxiety. But the music mogul added that he is happy he stayed the course, as he learned a lot about himself through it. Talking more about his experience on This Morning, he said he's happy to be back to normal life - and that CBB was not what he had expected, especially the nights.

This comes after Louis recently opened up about his battle with a rare form of blood cancer called waldenstrom macroglobulinemia. On Celebrity Big Brother, Louis revealed that he is recovering from the rare cancer, saying it had been a "reality check" for him. "I have it blocked out, a reality check. You see so many people sick and it's terrible. In my world it was all about pop music and all that. I didn't think of anybody getting sick or anything like that. And that was like, wow, reality check you're in the real world."

The friend explained that Louis had the condition during lockdown and got great care in Dublin, but it made him feel very lonely, which was probably one of the reasons he joined the Celebrity Big Brother house.
