1. A safer school environment will be provided to prevent kidnapping of pupils and abduction of teachers, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu promised on Sunday. Reacting to the release of the abducted Kaduna schoolchildren, Tinubu said in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, that a conscious effort would be made to prevent a repeat of the sad scenario. 2.

Members of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU, and the Non-Academic Staff Union, NASU, yesterday ended their seven-day warning strike.
