If Tech were to survive, the love of him and his family should take center stage.

Doing this would assure that not only would Tech remain close to the plot’s center, but his survival would feel necessary for the story going forward.

4 Should - Tech Could Be Forced To Take Part In The Empire’s Plans The Empire Could Be Even More Evil And Manipulative Than Before Close The Empire and their presence in Tech’s future narrative could throw an interesting wrench into the mix going forward, especially if they were the ones to recover him after or during his fall. There are a variety of different ways this could go, from a loss of his memory to willingly working with the enemy in order to get back to his family.
