BBC's Death in Paradise is seemingly on the hunt for a new detective after Ralf Little was confirmed to be leaving the show after five years.
When he left, Ardal O'Hanlon took over the lead detective role as DI Jack Mooney and finally, Ralf Little, who currently holds the role of DI Neville Parker. However, that possibility is looking unlikely and a series of famous faces have now had their names thrown into the ring for who could be replacing Neville.
Gavin and Stacey star, Matthew Horne, is at odds of 5/1 whilst other names include comedian Romesh Ranganathan, former Doctor Who star Jodie Whittaker and The Bill's Jaye Griffiths.Back in 2021, executive producer Tim Key explained: "Our intention in having the detective solve the crimes it's to show that that's sort of the only thing that character can do effectively.
