Ralf Little is believed to have quit his five-year long role of DI Neville Parker on the BBC show and fans are speculating who his replacement will be.

Gavin and Stacey star, Matthew Horne, is at odds of 5/1 whilst other names include comedian Romesh Ranganathan, former Doctor Who star Jodie Whittaker and The Bill's Jaye Griffiths.Back in 2021, executive producer Tim Key explained: "Our intention in having the detective solve the crimes it's to show that that's sort of the only thing that character can do effectively.
