Gladiators is almost over for 2024 but the BBC's surprise hit reboot is not going to end without controversy after fans spotted a 'fake' change to the end of the dramatic semi-final on Saturday night.
The new series has proved a smash hit for the BBC, beating Ant & Dec's ITV viewing figures on a Saturday night, propelled forwards by the popularity of new Gladiators like Sabre, Diamond and Fury.But the series, which was all shot at Sheffield Arena, has been hit by a row after fans spotted a 'fake' moment at the end of the semi-final.
Unfortunately, it didn't end well for Kerry after the travelator - the sloped escalator competitors must run up at the end of The Eliminator - proved too much and Kerry lost her entire lead while Marie-Louise took hers first time.
