As amazing as it would be to treat yourself to a barista-style coffee from your local café every morning, it unfortunately just isn't possible for many people due to the cost.
Journalist and avid coffee drinker Nicola Roy recently decided to upgrade her old Nespresso machine to the Sage Creatista Plus. Here's her honest review of the product, which you can find in Amazon's sale now. And what an upgrade it was. The Sage machine, which is still compatible with Nespresso pods, is leaps and bounds ahead of anything I've ever tried before.
You can use the recommended settings, or customise them depending on how warm you like your milk or coffee. One thing I really like is how good the foam is even when using plant-based milks - as many often don't froth up as well as I'd like. Not to mention the drinks themselves, which genuinely taste like they're been bought from a cafe. A flat white or cappuccino is my go-to, but when the summer comes you can bet I'll be making all the iced oat vanilla lattes I can drink.
Even though mine was a gift, I was still planning on buying it beforehand anyway, and most certainly would have spent my own money on it if it hadn't aligned with my parents also getting a new one.
