Gwyneth Paltrow says 'f--k you' to Bill Clinton for sleeping through her movie screening: 'He was snoring right in front of me'

Thursday the “Shakespeare in Love” actress was asked about a long-standing rumor that the former president passed out during a White House screening of her 1996 film, “Emma.”

The film, based on the beloved Jane Austen novel, centers around a young woman in 19th Century England who is intent on setting her friends up with potential spouses.The movie was considered to be a success, grossing nearly $40 million worldwide on a production budget under $8 million. “If I look at the industry as a whole, there’s this sort of big push into superhero movies,” she opined.“I mean, you can only make so many good ones that feel truly original and yet there’s still, you know, always trying to reach as many people as possible, which sometimes hinders quality or specificity or real point-of-views.”in an interview in 2020.
