2Emmet was best known for his iconic role as heartthrob Dick Moran on RTE's hit soap Glenroe.The heart-throb of the show, Dick Moran, was the local suave solicitor.
The Dublin man was also well known for playing the role of Ulfus in the fantasy film Excalibur, back in 1981. Paying tribute to his beloved brother, he said: "Sharing the sad passing of our brother Emmet who was an inspiration and a great man. Love you Emmet. RIP."
