To all the equestrian girlies who were passionately immersed in the Pony Pals books, Saddle Club–verse, and Thoroughbred series mania during the early 2000s, the current horse girl trend is for you. The ranch-core aesthetic is a chicer, girlier take on the cowboy look, and one that has been wholly embraced by celebrities including Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Dua Lipa this year. Lipa is the latest to join in on the ranch fun, and she did so this week on a trip to Mexico City.
The “Houdini” singer shared a vibrant photo dump on Instagram from the getaway, and in one slide, she is embracing a white horse while in a black halter minidress with white polka-dots and swirls, embellished at the chest with a pretty red bow. Lipa wore the little black dress with a pair of matching cowboy boots with white detailing, and dainty silver jewelry, including long earrings that each looked like a piece of metallic string tied into a knot and some layered chain necklaces.
