Yard Act are exploring the “human yearning” for a “better tomorrow” in their newest record Where’s My Utopia?

Where's My Utopia? “I kind of had to write about what I had known since the first album,” Yard Act’s James Smith explained. “As things started to blow up for Yard Act, it was so all-encompassing and very exciting. James added: I think the thing that I cottoned on to, which I maybe knew all along but I think what I was trying to get back to, was just letting go of this grand idea of solving your problems and learning to live within them and just basically take it one step at a time. The Trench Coat Museum Last year the band dropped the eight-minute video for The Trench Coat Museum, their first release since Yard Act’s acclaimed debut album The Overload in 2022.

“And that started with Trench Coat. Then Daisy who starred in the lead in all the videos, by chance just by getting to know her she's now ended up joining the live band.”
