Gina invites Larry to lunch and tells him that, if Stu doesn’t pull through and the worst should happen, she wants Larry to look after their 11-year-old daughter, Olivia. Larry spends the rest of the episode frantically trying to skirt this responsibility. He tries to switch jobs with Freddy Funkhouser, who Stu has chosen to sell his antique violin, but Freddy doesn’t want the babysitting gig, either, so they battle it out.
Larry had a confrontation with some teenage trick-or-treaters who toilet-papered his house and spray-painted “BALD A**HOLE” on his front door in season 2, episode 3, “Trick or Treat.” In one of Richard Lewis’ best Curb episodes, season 3, episode 4, “The Nanny from Hell,” Larry got into a juvenile name-calling argument with a child at Richard’s screening.
