West Coast coach Adam Simpson has revealed veteran midfielder Andrew Gaff will be dropped for this weekend’s clash against the GWS Giants. Gaff was subbed off for tactical reasons against Port Adelaide on Sunday after collecting just four disposals — the lowest tally of his 276-game career.
Adam Simpson speaks to 7NEWS Perth. The 31-year-old remains one of the highest-paid players at the Eagles, believed to be on at least $750,000 as he enters the final year of his contract. Gaff has been one of the premier midfielders of the competition for much of his career and earned All-Australian selection twice. But he has struggled in recent years as his output has dropped significantly.
