Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Blumhouse's Imaginary is turning out a stellar week 2 result that is competing with their 2023 hit M3GAN. The new movie, which was co-written and directed by Truth or Dare's Jeff Wadlow, follows Jessica , whose recent marriage has given her two stepdaughters.

Per Variety, the Imaginary release is currently projected to end its second weekend at the domestic box office with a 3-day total of $5.5 million. This marks a 44% drop from its $9.9 million opening weekend, an unusual result for a horror movie, as it is common for the genre to drop 50% or more during week 2.
