Ben Shephard'S cheeky dig at Cat Deeley as he speaks out on This Morning debut

Ben Shephard couldn't help but make a cheeky dig at co-host Cat Deeley as he spoke out on their first week as the new host of This Morning. Ben and Cat officially made their first appearance as the show's new duo on Monday with viewers so far divided over the new duo.

As they opened their first show, Cat and Ben appeared to have been caught off guard as they had a pre-show chat before they addressed the ITV show's viewers. "Oh hello, it's Monday, March 11, welcome to a brand new week on This Morning," Ben cheerily said. Alongside the post, he said he had been looking at images and noticed he and Cat had done "a lot of laughing and of course had some delicious food". He added: "I’m now fasting over the weekend to make room for more next week!! Thank you for all your lovely messages. See you Monday I hope!"
