, according to THR. This will be a film written by Ana Nogueira, who has already written the script for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which apparently they must haveliked in order to turn around and give her this straight away. And that’s even her first major screenwriting credit.
Now that Teen Titans is happening, fans are attempting to cast the actors they want to see in the roles. We don’t know the full line-up of which characters it would be, but it could be a mix of the two beloved animated series about the team, and of course we did have Titans, the “gritty” live action realization of the team. It’s clear those actors would not carry over to the DCU, and this team will no doubt skew younger. You know, actual teens.
So, assuming we will have the most well-known heroes on the team, here’s what’s being discussed right now:- Xolo Maridueña. I mean, this one is a done deal. Maridueña’s Blue Beetle was one of just a tiny handful of existing live-action DC characters that Gunn confirmed would carry over, so if Blue Beetle is on the Teen Titans, and there’s every reason to imagine he would be, we already have our actor.
Past these six, it’s unclear which other members of Teen Titans would also appear in the movie. Gunn’s DCU loves putting in characters you might not expect, and there are of course a lot of additions that could be on this list like Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, Terra, Aqualad, Arsenal, Bumblebee and others. But we don’t have enough information to see how deep into the roster they’d go.
