National Theatre of Scotland took to social media to pay tribute to Peter Kelly, describing him as a 'great man of Scottish theatre'.

A legend of Scottish theatre for nearly 70 years, Peter starred in our 2006 panto production of Aladdin.NTS added: "We are so sad to hear about the passing of Peter Kelly. A great man of Scottish theatre.
"He performed Edwin Morgan's Strawberries, for us in 2020, directed by Lewis Hetherington. Our thoughts are with all those who loved him."Taking to social media, one person said: "Sad news - he was an energy." Another added: "Really sad to hear this. Peter was always such a gentleman and a great supporter of the King's."
