But the 52-year-old was pulled up by staff at the Elanora Country Club in the Northern Beaches after turning up with socks whose colours did not meet the establishment's strict dress code. "If long socks are worn they must be kept up at all times. Acceptable short socks will be plain white or plain white with a Golf Club logo and at least quarter length,"
