The songwriter, who was part of the band called The Wild Colonials, was known for her mesmerising tracks that have featured in popular TV shows like Grey's Anatomy.

Angela was born in Dennistoun, Glasgow in 1960. She later moved to America joining the folk-rock group and had an amazing career in the entertainment industry. Her passing was announced on her Instagram account this morning, where she was movingly described as "the rainstorm that never ends". The announcement said, "The spark has gone but the love lives on,", reports Glasgow Live.
