David Potts might be best known for his reality TV stints, but the Celebrity Big Brother favourite has also set his sights on a brand new career. The 30-year-old first rose to fame on Ibiza Weekender in 2016 and later its successor Kavos Weekender – which follows contestants in their twenties as they spend time at a Greek hotel resort.
“Before he went on Celebrity Big Brother, David was in talks to have his own show and other presenting opportunities. He previously presented the spin-off show for the ITV2 reality show The Cabins and it went down so well,” the source said. “While he’ll definitely do more reality shows, as that’s where he’s made his name, his ultimate goal is presenting.”
As his popularity soars, it appears that there’s one coveted programme that David wants to add to his entertainment credits – and that’s ITV’s daytime show This Morning. “There’s been a lot of interest from TV execs about things post CBB, but he’d love a segment on This Morning and viewers would love his bubbly personality,” the source said.
And, in the months leading up to his CBB stint, David has become a bit of a wellness icon on Instagram as he’s been sharing his fitness journey with his followers. In January, he posted a before and after photo of his healthy weight loss, plus details of his regime. He wrote, “Another stone bites the dust, officially 3 stone down ahhhhh! Just another 7 to go. SLAY!
