On Tuesday , Mulvaney shared a lengthy vlog reflecting on her second year of publicly transitioning to her Instagram and TikTok profiles. At the end of her reflections, she highlighted, a nonprofit focused on LGBTQIA+ suicide prevention, saying, “Every time that you stream my song or use it on a social media app, any profits that I make through.
“It’s obvious we still have to do as a society to make room for transgender lives to be cherished and upheld by all of us,” she wrote.
While “Days of Girlhood” marks Mulvaney’s first proper pop single, it is not her first musical release.
