Ambassadors, socialites, and one Senator enjoyed a musical soirée on March 13, hosted by the Ambassador of Hungary, Mária Vass-Salazar, at her official residence, Birkett Castle. The intimate gathering featured plenty of champagne, good food, and performances by virtuoso organist Xaver Varnus and young-savant violinist Zoltán Schwartz.
While Conservative Senator Victor Oh was the only Parliamentarian in attendance, several members of the diplomatic circle were present, including the High Commissioner of Pakistan, Zaheer Janjua, and his wife, Karen Janjua; Armenia’s Ambassador Anahit Harutyunyan; Slovenia’s Ambassador Melita Gabric; Sweden’s Ambassador Signe Burgstaller, and Ambassador of Finland Jari Vilen.
