Home-grown actor Tay Ping Hui left entertainment and content provider GHY Culture & Media in late February. Tay expressed his gratitude for the past five years with GHY and stated that it is now time for him to pursue his own passions and work with people he wants to work with. He also mentioned the possibility of heading west for new challenges. Tay, who has been in the industry for over 25 years, previously expressed his desire to shoot TV series abroad.

He has filmed in various locations such as Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Australia, and has experienced different working styles in each place
