Ireland's Cillian Murphy won an well-deserved Oscar on Sunday night for his role in as the titular character in Christopher Nolan's biopic Oppenheimer, but fame hasn't gone to Cillian or his family's heads.
Breandán admitted that the family all went "a little crazy" when Cillian's name was called, adding that he really enjoyed his son's acceptance speech and was touched that he and his wife got a mention by name. Cillian dedicated his award to peacemakers everywhere, adding that whether we like it or not, we are all living in Oppenheimer's world.
