The singer stopped to sign autographs and pose for photos with Scots fans ahead of his Barrowlands gig in the heart of the city.

Liam Gallagher was in a jubilant mood following his new number one album as he met fans in Glasgow ahead of his Barrowland gig in the city.

Liam, who teamed up with John Squire of The Stone Roses for his latest offering, told fans to ‘snap away man, snap away’ at pictures as he entered into the legendary Scots venue. The former Oasis star just this week poured cold water on the idea of an Oasis reunion by saying: “Not this week, no.” And he said of his brother Noel: “ I haven't spoken to him. I haven't spoken to him for about 10 years.”

Amongst those who met him outside were Charlotte Simpson from Aberdeen who travelled down to get her Definitely Maybe album signed, and Andrew Buchan from Kirriemuir who also got him to sign an Oasis album. Charlotte said: “I was having an anxiety attack when he stopped. I travelled down to try and get him and John Squire and can’t believe he stopped.”Top showbiz news Get the latest celebrity gossip and telly news sent straight to your inbox.
