The 53 year old has been a regular on the Channel 4 show for some time

Lucy Alexander, a star of BBC's Homes Under the Hammer, has landed a full-time presenting role on Channel 4's daytime show A Place in the Sun. After her guest appearance last year, she now joins the hosting line-up permanently due to her experience in the property sector and her on-screen charm.

"I've got quite a few episodes coming up with them this year, I am definitely a part of the family which has been lovely! ". Speaking about the new programme, Lucy said: "They've asked me to do their brand new show which is a re-visit. As my lovely couple bought their house, I'm now doing a let's go back and see how they are getting on! I'm travelling about once a month at the moment for A Place in the Sun which is fantastic and I'm really, really enjoying it! ", reports Wales Online.
