Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has been called up by Argentina despite being sidelined with a knee injury.
The defender only played three Premier League games for United before he suffered a knee injury against West Ham on February 4. United confirmed that Martinez would be sidelined for a further eight to 10 weeks while he recovered from a medial collateral ligament injury in his knee. Argentina have friendly matches against El Salvador and Costa Rica on March 23 and 27, respectively.
