Following President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s appointment barely 20 months ago, veteran actor Tirso Cruz 3rd resigned as chairman of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP). He officially vacated the post on March 6.In a sit-down interview with The Manila Times, FDCP technical consultant Jose Javier Reyes confirmed Cruz's resignation due to 'personal reasons.' He also categorically dismissed rumors the actor was forced to resign because of 'civil service disqualifications.
