There could be more snow on the way to Yorkshire

According to WXCharts, the snow will move down from the North during the early morning of Thursday, March 21, next week. It will arrive in Yorkshire at around 6am, with heavy snow falling in Leeds, Bradford and York.

At this time, North Yorkshire will bear the brunt of the snow, with between two to three centimetres falling an hour in parts of the Yorkshire Dales. Other parts of North Yorkshire will see between one and two centimetres while the edges of the storm, like Leeds, will see less than a centimetre.By midday on March 21, the snow will move to the south and east, enveloping all of Yorkshire at once. This means there will be snow in Leeds, Bradford, York, Huddersfield, Doncaster and Sheffield.

There will be around a centimetre of snow an hour at this point, with heavier snow falling in East Yorkshire and along the Yorkshire Coast. There will also be heavy snow in North Wales and parts of Ireland. However, by 6pm in the evening, the snow will move into the North Sea and will cease to fall in Yorkshire.

More snow is then predicted for Saturday, March 23, at which point the snow will arrive at the front of a large wave of rain from the west. Small amounts of less than a centimetre an hour are expected to fall in western areas like Huddersfield and the Yorkshire Dales at midnight.
