Let's face it: Sydney Sweeney is the moment. After appearing in hit shows such as Euphoria and The White Lotus, she made rom-com history starring alongside Glen Powell in Anyone But You and appeared in the female-fronted Marvel movie Madame Web with Dakota Johnson. But her next onscreen appearance will be something somewhat darker – a horror set in an Italian convent, where Sydney plays a troubled nun.
Immaculate seems like something of a personal project for Sydney – she auditioned for the film back in 2014, but according to IMDB it “never materialised”. So, years later she took on the role of producer for the film, revised the script, found financial backers and hired a director. Talk about an actual boss.
