One moment, Tia Cameron was standing on a footpath as she finished up at a Brisbane CBD beauty appointment. The next, the 18-year-old was pinned between a building and bus with catastrophic injuries she ultimately would not survive. Serious questions remain about Cameron’s death on Edward St when a council-run bus veered off the road, mounted the kerb and crashed into a building during afternoon peak hour on Friday. She was declared dead at the scene.

“That will be determined. We will have those answers. “It was a Friday night — people thinking about what they were doing for the weekend, finishing up work ... this is not something that anyone would anticipate happening, “Walking on a busy street and seeing this tragedy, it touches us all, because it could have been anybody.” He tweeted Cameron’s death was a “devastating tragedy” that had “left our entire community in shock”.
