This event, masterminded by Jed MacKay and Pepe Larraz, will pit the heroes against Earth’s vampires, who have smothered the world in darkness. Marvel will also ship special “Red Band” editions with more gore and violence, and it will impact its biggest icons as well.
Close MacKay and Brevoort did not elaborate, but Brevoort cryptically said the last page of the first Red Band edition was the “best” and would offer a great deal of insight into the plot.
