lightweight fight during the UFC 299 event at Kaseya Center on March 09, 2024 in Miami, Florida. On Saturday night, in the co-main event of UFC 299, Dustin"The Diamond" Poirier scored a scintillating second-round KO win over Benoit Saint-Denis.

After a rough and tumble first round, Poirier's superior boxing proved too much for the upstart and favorite Saint-Denis. Poirier starched Saint-Denis with a vicious left uppercut that momentarily dropped the latter. Saint-Denis had won his last five fights–all by stoppage. The 12th-ranked Frenchman pushed the pace and appeared to have Poirier in some tough situations, but he couldn't turn the corner.
