This is so stupid. If someone priced their house at $1 (it’s been done before) will you run a front page headline saying “HOUSE SOLD IN ONE DAY, 1MM OVER ASKING”. The globe and mail is a good newspaper but your real estate section is a joke.
Very affordable for most families particularly given most banks just dropped mortgage rates 20 BPS. Entry level detached market remains strong in Vancouver and Toronto.
